
An agreement has been reached in the water curtailment issue that has received national attention for the past few weeks, according to a news release from Idaho Ground Water Appropriators Inc., which was emailed late Wednesday afternoon.
Ground water irrigators and surface water irrigators completed a deal that saves 330,000 acres of Idaho farmland from being dried up and averts economic catastrophe in the state, the release said.
