The warm weather has treated No. 5-ranked Flagstaff beach volleyball well. The Eagles continued their perfect regular season with another sweep on Wednesday, taking down the 30th-ranked Dysart Demons at Flagstaff Athletic Club – East.
“Usually it’s gale-force winds and we’re playing with sweatshirts closed up because it’s snowing on us,” Eagles head coach Beth Haglin said. “Who knows, we may end our season with that, so let’s not count our chickens before they hatch. It’s been beautiful weather.”
