Almost a month removed from its first home game, Flagstaff baseball valiantly returned to Eagle Field on Wednesday afternoon and showcased what it has done all season. The Eagles earned the regular-season sweep over No. 23 Mingus Union with an 18-2 victory.
Much like their road matchup against the Marauders on Monday, the Eagles jumped all over their region foe with an explosive first inning. Flagstaff put up eight runs in the first frame, headlined by a three-run home run by junior Tobyn Phillips.
