The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) is inviting artists to apply for a public art opportunity as part of its Superior Court Enhancement Project.
This project, supported by the CJCC Indigenous Initiatives Committee, will commission an original piece of art for permanent display in the Coconino County Superior Courthouse. The project aims to enhance the courthouse environment by integrating meaningful, culturally relevant, community-centered visual expression into a shared civic space. The selected artwork will be installed in a public area, contributing to a “welcoming and respectful atmosphere for all who enter” according to the announcement.
