These are very trying and hurtful times. I’ve got to quit watching the news sometimes or I’ll get depressed. But I have a remedy. Turn to the arts. Especially music. I can get any music I want on YouTube. I love the great pianist Yuja Wang. I think she is the greatest pianist in the world. What she does is impossible. And Jacques Loussier, who plays the classics in jazz style. I was a pianist myself once upon a time. But, as I said, you can get anyone you want just by typing the name in once you bring up YouTube.
But now I discovered something I didn’t know I had. A friend gave me what is called “echo spot.” Unbelievable. You just plug it into any standard wall socket. I thought it just gave the time, date and temperature. But you can ask any question you want. And “Alexa” will play any music you want. I didn’t know that until my friend did it one day on one of his visits. You just speak to the little round gizmo, about 4 inches in height and width, and say “Alexa, play so and so.” And you can get anything without leaving your recliner.
