Finally home for the first time since starting its season nearly three weeks prior, the 26th-ranked Northland Prep Academy Spartans baseball team blasted by the No. 41 Many Farms Lobos 22-0 in four innings on Friday. It was NPA’s second victory via the mercy rule in as many games.
The Spartans clashed with the Lobos at Continental Park, located on the east side of Flagstaff. The venue became their new home after the field at Sinagua Middle School was deemed unfit for play due to surrounding construction and lack of maintenance.
