LOCAL ROUNDUP: Flagstaff’s van Meerten earns another title in 3,200 meters

With 10 local athletes heading back down to the Valley for the AIA Track and Field State Championships, 10 different marks were improved on from the previous week’s division state championship meets.

Hosted at Mesa Community College, the state championship meet brought athletes together from all five divisions on Friday and Saturday. The Flagstaff Eagles sent eight athletes in eight events, while the BASIS Flagstaff Yetis were represented by Jasmine Hall and the Coconino Panthers by Jackson Davis.
