In a heartwarming tribute that wrestles with grief and glory, Real American Beer is launching its “Local Legends” campaign to honor everyday heroes in our communities. The brand, co-founded by the late Hulk Hogan, is making sure his vision continues to shine bright—even after he left the ring for good. Hogan was all about acknowledging the folks who keep our world running, and it looks like his company is taking that mission to new heights. Talk about a comeback story that’s worth raising a glass to!
The campaign kicked off with two deserving honorees: Matthew Holubik, a U.S. Navy veteran and firefighter, and Jenny Campbell, a U.S. Air Force veteran and dedicated mom. Both of these local legends will soon grace billboards, turning them into the celebrity faces of heroism! It’s like Hollywood, but instead of red carpets, we’ve got community service and everyday valor. If only every beer brand could be this inspirational, we’d all be living in a commercial!
Now, the question is: how do you define a ‘local hero’? Is it someone in uniform, or is it the neighbor who always lends a hand? Maybe it’s that local diner owner who knows your coffee order by heart! With so many people out there deserving recognition, it’s great to see Real American Beer take a moment to honor the real MVPs of our neighborhoods. Imagine what a world would look like if we took a moment to appreciate the ordinary alongside the extraordinary!
So next time you pop open a cold one, think about who you’d like to honor in your community. Who are the heroes that make your days a little brighter? And seriously, should we just go ahead and add “local legend” to our LinkedIn profiles while we’re at it?
