We’ve all seen the ads of smiling children in their Sunday best cuddling a cute baby bunny or fuzzy chick. Contrary to Easter hype, young children and these small animals are not a good match.
Children are naturally lively and enthusiastic, and if you add that to the normal noise level you will have a stressful situation for sensitive rabbits. Even the most gentle toddler may accidentally squeeze or drop a tiny animal, especially if it bites, jumps or scratches.
