When it comes to important global discussions, who would’ve thought artists would be the answer to shaking things up? Iwona Fluda and Muriel ‘Solange’ Bolay decided it was high time for creatives to have their voices heard. They recently launched the Future of Humanity Experience in Basel, a vibrant gathering where 40 co-creators from around the globe linked arms to envision a brighter tomorrow. It’s like they said, “If the corporate giants can make plans for the future, why can’t we?”
From Davos to Basel, these women have mastered the art of getting people talking. Their last project attracted over 300,000 participants, proving that there’s a real appetite for artistic influence in what often feels like a boardroom lacking a soul. They knew that a splash of creativity could enliven an often dry dialogue and create an environment rich in insights and inspiration. With grand visions and just a few months to organize, they catapulted art into an arena typically reserved for business suits and policy wonks—all while keeping spirits high and snacks plentiful.
Isn’t it refreshing to see creativity take center stage where it usually fades into the background? Imagine a world where art isn’t just decoration but a driving force for change. If art can transform business discussions, perhaps it’s also capable of bridging societal gaps. So, what do you think: can these artistic initiatives really reshape our crowded conference tables, or are they just a colorful distraction?
