Ahmon Hogg and Seth Coles-Body are making headlines for all the wrong reasons as they face charges for their alleged ATM robbery spree. Hailing from Texas, these two young guns got creative (and not in a good way) with their crime, using a glue-like substance to disable card readers. When technicians showed up to save the day, they reportedly brandished weapons and demanded cash. Talk about an unorthodox way to make a withdrawal!
Their escapades took them from Renton to Vancouver, Washington, with one successful heist netting them five cash cassettes full of cash. But like a bad episode of a heist movie, their luck ran out in Mississippi, where they were pulled over with stolen firearms in their vehicle. Perhaps they should’ve spent less time plotting their next big score and more time reading up on getaway plans!
The duo now faces up to five years in prison if convicted, and you’ve got to wonder: isn’t crime supposed to pay? It turns out that not only does it not pay, but it can also lead to a life of hard time, behind bars instead of in the lap of luxury. What’s your take on these sticky-fingered criminals and their bizarre methods—creative genius or just a flat-out fail?
