It seems that not every casino trip ends with a big score; in fact, for one would-be robber, it ended with nothing but confusion! Last Saturday morning, an armed man sauntered into the Little Creek Casino in Shelton, gun in hand, demanding cash. However, when the employee opened the till only to reveal empty pockets, the would-be criminal quickly realized he was in over his head and took off running. Talk about a plot twist—no one wants to be outsmarted by a cash register!
The suspect, described to be between 20 and 30 years old and around 5′ 7″, was caught on surveillance cameras sporting a stylish look—gray flannel shirt, dark pants, and a hat with a Nike logo, not to mention a rubber glove on his right hand. Maybe he was just getting ready to cook some dinner after the attempted heist? Law enforcement is still searching for this less-than-lucky bandit, asking the public to help out.
It’s a classic case of crime not paying off, and the twist in this tale has us all chuckling. If you were in that casino, what would you have done if faced with this shockingly bold yet clueless robber?
