CHA Pet of the Week: Apollo

Hi – I’m Apollo! I’m a 5-year-old Siberian Husky mix who was surrendered to the Coconino Humane Association through no fault of my own when my owner could no longer care for me. I’m good with other dogs, kennel trained, partially house trained, and would be a great fit for an active family. I have no experience with cats or other small animals.

I love to run and play and have lots of energy, so I need regular exercise and mental stimulation. I’d make an excellent running partner — I’ve gone on runs of up to 15 miles! When I get excited, I can be a bit jumpy, and I’m not reliable off-leash.
