Challis man who caused $125,000 damage sentenced to six years of probation

Michael Jon Bauchman, 39, pleaded guilty to felony burglary and misdemeanor injury to property. For the felony, he was sentenced to a determinate period of custody of two years followed by eight years indeterminate for a unified sentence of 10 years. For the misdemeanor, he was sentenced to 120 days in prison.

After accepting a plea deal in May, a Challis man has been sentenced to six years probation after causing over 5,000 in property damage in Bonneville County in February.
