Looks like Cher’s son, Elijah Blue Allman, is caught in a whirlwind of legal drama. A judge recently ordered him to fork over $6,500 every month in temporary spousal support to his estranged wife, Marieangela King. This comes after Elijah missed a court hearing, which he claims was due to an alleged drug overdose. Nothing says “rockstar life” like a courtroom battle over finances, right?
Marieangela, who hasn’t worked since 2009, detailed she needed this support badly to cover her monthly expenses that total around $12,000. She’s living large by her own claims, reminiscing about their high-flying lifestyle with fancy trips and celebrity perks. But now, she says she’s all but struggling, leaving us to ponder: just how lavish was that lifestyle, and can it be maintained on a mere $6,500 a month?
Elijah, in turn, admitted to some past issues with addiction and assured the court that he’s on the sober train now, passing drug tests and all that good stuff. With such a complicated family dynamic, it’s hard not to raise an eyebrow and ask: will this support deal set Elijah up for a comeback or sink him deeper into turmoil?
