Senior pitcher Cailee Culwell started and ended Thursday afternoon’s softball game against Bradshaw Mountain with a bang. Flagstaff’s team captain struck out 10 batters in her complete game of work and took a no-hitter into the fourth inning.
After a bit of a cold spell on offense for the Eagles, Culwell called game in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-rule walk-off home run to center field. The eighth-ranked Eagles took the win and swept the regular-season series against the No. 22 Bears, 15-4.
