Imagine a night out at your favorite bar spiraling into chaos. That’s exactly what happened at the Inn Between Pub in Kent, where a 63-year-old man went from enjoying a drink to being handcuffed in the parking lot after a shooting incident. Witnesses say the trouble began when the older man found himself in a heated dispute over his necklace—yes, you heard that right. Talk about a rough way to earn a late-night snack!
Things escalated quickly when that necklace almost turned into a bullet instead. The older man allegedly shot an 18-year-old who tried to grab his jewelry, and this young man ended up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg, claiming he got it elsewhere. Kent Police, showing up much like a scene from a cop show, found the older man attempting to flee in a black SUV. It’s not quite the escape one might expect after a drink or two!
As detectives continue to sift through the varying accounts of the altercation, you have to wonder—what ever happened to simply telling someone to back off? Could it be that bar brawls are just another Tuesday night for some people? Let us know what you think in the comments—how far would you go to reclaim your rightful bling?
