It’s that time again when Fridays bring us a fresh batch of tunes! This week, Drake teams up with Central Cee to drop “Which One,” a track that’s perfect for your summer playlist. The dynamic duo delivers dancehall vibes with a nod to Rihanna. I mean, can we just say “thank you” for bringing a little heat to our playlists as we try to ignore the rising temperatures outside?
In the country corner, Morgan Wallen shakes things up with the remix of “Miami,” featuring none other than Lil Wayne and Rick Ross. Come on, who thought country and rap would be mingling at the summer BBQ? Wallen’s clearly building bridges between genres, proving he can pull in fans who might typically stick to lyrical storytelling loaded with twang. Sometimes the unexpected collaborations yield the most delightful results.
Also in the mix is Sombr with “12 to 12,” featuring Addison Rae, which takes his pop-rock sound to another level. Shane Boose is definitely proving he can conjure up irresistible beats! Meanwhile, YoungBoy Never Broke Again drops a sprawling-sized album called MASA, showing off his growth after a pardon from President Trump. And let’s not forget Tame Impala, who’s dropped the club-ready track “End of Summer.” With all these releases, the music scene is sizzling hotter than a sidewalk on a July afternoon!
What’s your most anticipated release of the week? Are you more excited about Drake’s vibes or Wallen mixing it up with hip hop? Let’s hear it!
