Having both played in the Valley a day earlier, the No. 7 Flagstaff Eagles and the No. 33 Coconino Panthers met for their annual matchup on Tuesday afternoon.
The Eagles (9-1, 4-0 D-II Section II) snapped a two-match win streak for the Panthers (5-5, 1-4 D-II Section II) with their 8-1 victory at Hal Jensen Recreation Center. Flagstaff’s victory, its eighth straight this season dating back to early March, was the sixth in a row for the Eagles against their crosstown rival.
