Imagine waking up from a nap in a stolen vehicle only to create chaos on the streets of Tumwater. That’s exactly what an 18-year-old suspect did when he was found snoozing in a stolen GMC Denali. After a dramatic series of events, including a police chase and multiple vehicle crashes, things went from bad to worse in what can only be described as the world’s most unfortunate wake-up call!
Tracking him down via his ankle monitor, police uncovered a wild scene when the young man decided to flee, ultimately smashing into two vehicles and sending one driver to the hospital in critical condition. Can you believe this guy thought it would be a bright idea to run, crash, and potentially injure others when he could have simply stayed put and gotten some coffee instead? We don’t need law enforcement to remind us that none of this ends well for anyone involved.
Now sitting under investigation for DUI, our nap-loving suspect exemplifies that crime and a comfy sleep just don’t mix. It’s a sobering reminder of the choices we make and their consequences. What would you do in this situation—hand over your keys and stay put, or flee and hope for the best? Let’s hear your take!
