Summer is officially here, and with it comes a calendar chock-full of music festivals in the Pacific Northwest! Kicking things off is the Northwest Tune-Up from July 11-13 in Bellingham, where you can enjoy biking, craft brews, and stellar performances from artists like STS9 and Silversun Pickups. If you’re not already mentally preparing your concert outfits, you might want to start now—spandex bikewear is so last season anyway.
Following that, mark your calendars for the Timber! Outdoor Music Festival in Carnation from July 24-26. It’s the perfect vibe for indie-folk lovers looking to bask in the summer sun while enjoying tunes from M. Ward, Dehd, and others—who knew your love for camping could finally intersect with your obsession for live music? Just remember, if you’re going to make s’mores, don’t confuse the chocolate for your festival snacks!
As if that wasn’t enough, Olympia will be hosting the South Sound Block Party on August 22-23, bringing you a weekend full of food trucks, games, and live music from L7 and Bratmobile. Seriously, if you can’t find a good time in the PNW this summer, you might just be doing something wrong. Which festival are you looking forward to most? Let’s chat in the comments!
