Letter to the Editor: Pond in Parks raises concerns of water use

I am writing on behalf of concerned residents in Parks, Arizona, a small rural community approximately 20 miles west of Flagstaff in Coconino County.

Our community relies on a fragile and limited water supply. Many residents depend on shallow private wells, while others must haul water for daily household use. Recently, several local water filling stations have experienced outages or low supply, making access to water even more difficult.
