Northern Arizona men’s tennis freshman Jakub Jedrzejczak was named the Big Sky Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday morning.
The laurel comes of the heels of a 3-0 week for the Lumberjacks, during which Jedrzejczak went undefeated in singles and doubles play, competing on courts one and two. He stands at 11-3 overall on the season, with all but two of his victories coming in straight sets, the most recent being over Sacramento State’s Doni Gashi last weekend. His active seven-match win streak in singles is also the longest of anyone in the conference.
