Two women arrested, face first-degree murder charges in connection to Canyon County campground homicide

Melissa Fay Calumpit, 35, and Rosalie Lynn Morris, 59, were arrested Thursday and have been booked in the Canyon County Jail, according to a news release from the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office. Both women hail from Battle Mountain, Nevada, a community in the northern part of the state between Winnemucca and Elko on Highway 80, the sheriff’s office said.
