Joe Jonas recently spilled the tea on an encounter with Buzz Aldrin, the legendary astronaut who was the second man on the moon. Back in 2017, while the Jonas Brothers were attending a Dallas Cowboys football game, Joe mustered up the courage to ask Aldrin for a photo. Unfortunately, Aldrin’s initial reaction was a solid “no.” Talk about a cosmic snub!
In a chat on the Last Meal podcast, Joe recalled how star-struck he was while approaching the moonwalker. Thankfully, with a little nudge from someone nearby, Aldrin eventually agreed to pose for a picture with Joe and his brothers. It resulted in a smiling snapshot that Aldrin later shared on Twitter, noting that the Jonas Brothers were “hot stuff.” Who knew that meeting a moonwalking hero could turn into a game of celebrity tag?
As the Jonas Brothers gear up for the release of their new album, “Greetings From Your Hometown,” this hilarious encounter with a legend continues to bring some laughs. It’s a reminder that even big stars can have awkward moments, and Aldrin must’ve thought, “What’s the deal with these pop stars?” It’s all fun and games until you ask a moonwalker for a selfie!
