LOCAL ROUNDUP: Northland Prep baseball wins in four innings against Greyhills Academy

Led by a four-hit game for senior Colson Skersick and three-hit games by a trio of other players, the No. 19 Northland Prep Spartans (9-5, 5-2 2A North) defeated the No. 46 Greyhills Academy Knights (2-12, 0-5 2A North) in four innings Friday afternoon at Continental Park.

After holding the Knights scoreless in the first inning, the Spartans put up five runs to take an early lead. Greyhills Academy cut into the lead with three runs in the second, but Northland Prep added five more in the second and nine runs in the third to take a commanding lead.
