Six months after the initiation of a federal lawsuit, executives of the now mostly defunct North Country HealthCare have still not responded to the allegations against them.
The last deadline for a response, set by the judge overseeing the case, was this past Monday, May 4. But the situation has been complicated by the plaintiffs’ decision to file a third amended complaint just ahead of that deadline, modifying the specific legal allegations at issue.
