The FlagCoco Awards, held every year, have become a staple in the community, highlighting some of Flagstaff’s best student-athletes and the impact they had on their teams over the past athletic season.
The 11th annual FlagCoco Awards, held at Hurley Auditorium at Flagstaff High School on April 28, honored 10 individuals who have helped elevate the Flagstaff and Coconino rivalry. This year’s ceremony was strategically placed the day after the end of the baseball and softball regular season, with the play-in round set for the following day. Last year’s FlagCoco Awards took place on May 19, the same day as Flagstaff baseball’s state championship game against Salpointe Catholic in Tempe.
