Fossil Creek permits now available seven days per week

Permits for Fossil Creek are now available seven days a week for the remainder of the 2026 permit season at recreation.gov.

Permit season runs through Oct. 1. Additionally, the permit allocation process has changed. Fewer permits will be sold one month in advance and more permits will be available two days in advance, creating more opportunities for Coconino National Forest visitors hoping to book a last-minute trip.
