Four-day youth summit to focus on Route 66 stewardship

The National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Preserve Route 66 initiative and the Hands-On Preservation Experience (HOPE) Crew are partnering with the Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona and the Arizona State Historic Preservation Office to host the 2026 Arizona Preserve America Youth Summit: Route 66 Centennial and Next Generation Stewards.

The four-day program, scheduled for June 1 to 4, will be held at historic places associated with Route 66 including Flagstaff, Williams, Kingman and the Grand Canyon National Park.
