The Coconino County Community Development Department is partnering with the Building Safety Advisory Board in the adoption of new and updated building codes.
The process is completed every six years with updated building codes addressing emerging safety risks, improving energy efficiency, incorporating new material and technology, and maintaining a high Insurance Services Office rating according to the county’s announcement.
