The seven members of the Flagstaff City Council all agreed on Tuesday, May 26, that they were ready to move forward with two ballot measures recommended by a citizen committee to provide more funding for police, fire and emergency management here: a sales tax increase of 0.5% and a $40 million general obligation bond sale.
The council will formally vote to place these measures on the November ballot at its June 16 meeting.
