The opinion piece on “Wildfires are when, not if; preparation is essential” is so on target. It really should have been on the front page. Since our history of fires, my thought is please have any and all types of fire information on the front pages.
And another thought… the sandbag removal was so well attended, and the bags so well removed, could we please have that same group of volunteers traverse all neighborhoods, see what is flammable and leave pleasant notes to the owners to please remove all possible stuff that would be easily a fire starter?
