The Flagstaff Little League All-Star 10s won their first game and lost their second-round matchup in the Arizona State Little League Tournament that kicked off at Horseshoe Trail Elementary School in Scottsdale this week. Flagstaff won its first-round game against Prescott Little League on Wednesday before losing to Canyon View Little League on Thursday.
The District 1 (Northern Arizona) champions opened the state tournament with an emphatic 15-1 first-round win against District 10 (Yavapai County) champion Prescott. Flagstaff scored 11 runs in the third and fourth innings to end the game via a run-rule.
