Lane closures begin on Lockett Road starting Tuesday

Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 18, multiple streets between Lockett Road and Linda Vista Drive will close for curb, gutter and sidewalk replacements. Lockett Road itself will remain open to traffic, but lane closures or lane shifts may occur through Sept. 4.

Dyer, Childress, King, Wayman and Walker streets will be closed to nonresidents. Work hours for the project are Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Local traffic and driveway access will be maintained for residents throughout the construction period.
