The Flagstaff and Coconino boys golf teams teed off the fall season in style on Aug. 11 at Agave Highlands Golf Course in Cornville, just outside of Cottonwood. The Eagles and Panthers owned the top nine spots in the team stroke play outing that also involved Mingus Union, the host school.
Coconino senior Karsten McCain shot a 34 to lead the field. The Panther is coming off a packed summer that saw him compete in the Junior World Championships at the historic Torrey Pines Golf Course in California.
