In a scene that could only be described as a mix of bad decisions and a touch of drama, two individuals were caught using drugs in a parked car in Tacoma. Enter Officer Warren from the Tacoma Police Department, who was responding to a concerned tip-off about this not-so-suspicious vehicle. Just as he approached, the driver—perhaps thinking he was in a movie—decided to flee on foot. Spoiler alert: it didn’t go well for him.
Officer Warren chased the runaway through alleys and managed to jump a fence before catching up. I guess adding parkour to the police training program is a thing now! Sadly, the drama didn’t end there, as a second suspect also decided to make a run for it but has yet to be apprehended. It’s like a buddy system gone wrong; when one buddy runs, the other should probably stick around, right?
The first driver was ultimately arrested for loitering linked to drug activity and obstructing law enforcement. At least now he has a new story to tell—one about why running from the cops is generally a bad idea. It makes you wonder, what were they thinking? Was the thrill of the chase really worth it, or could they have just called for a ride?
