Another day, another “don’t do that” story from Seattle! A 27-year-old man found himself in hot water after being arrested for selling fentanyl right in downtown, armed with a handgun. I mean, talk about confidence! This guy was trying to make a buck while clearly misreading the situation—he thought he was some kind of drug-dealing superhero, but the Seattle Police Department wasn’t having any of it.
Around 7:50 p.m., SPD officers caught him making the exchange near 3rd Avenue and Pine Street. Picture it: a bustling street, cash flying—1080 degrees of questioning whether this was a traffic stop or a drug deal! Once the officers stepped in, they found not just the drugs, but a handgun, cash, and all the accessories that would make a barista blush—plastic baggies and a scale included.
Here’s a thought: what would you do if you witnessed something like this on the street? Would you intervene, or just call 911? Either way, it’s a reminder that crime doesn’t pay, and sometimes it’s better to plan your entrepreneurship wisely. If this guy had only stuck to lemonade stands, he might not be facing serious charges today!
