Coconino County will join the rest of the state in lowering its flags to half-staff on Saturday to honor firefighter Nick Hutcherson.
The 27-year-old Hutcherson died while fighting the Knowles Fire in Colorado. Hutcherson was a member of the wildland fire team assigned through the Kaibab National Forest and was an active citizen in Coconino County.
