In January, the Arizona Daily Sun reported on new momentum for a possible alcohol-focused “healing center” in Flagstaff. A recent Flagstaff City Council resolution and a separate ongoing needs assessment to guide the potential development of such a center are keeping the attention of local leaders on the topic.
Both the resolution and the assessment are based on the premise that a foundation of community engagement and support will be vital to the success of any future efforts to build a stronger network of recovery support services in and around Flagstaff.
