Though it took more than two months for Flagstaff to surpass the unprecedented high temperatures of March, the inevitable heat of the summer months will finally take hold this week.
After March 19’s 84 degrees held the title as hottest day of the year through all of April and May, June recorded four consecutive 80-degree days in the first six days of the month. The stretch included the new high of 85 degrees for 2026, recorded on Friday before temperatures briefly dipped back down to the high 70s.
