Three former executives of North Country HealthCare who were sued in federal court by more than 30 employees of the now-bankrupt organization have denied any responsibility for the organization’s failure to meet its financial obligations for an employee health insurance plan, which left numerous employees with unexpected medical bills.
The lawsuit was originally filed in October 2025, and amended in December 2025 to name chief executive officer Anne Newland, chief financial officer John Andrews and human resources director Melinda Morales as individual defendants.
