Gavin Moran put his name out there for the football recruiting world to see. The recently graduated linebacker and tight end for Coconino football prominently used social media to track his growing list of college offers, which had risen to more than a dozen.
Moran made his decision official during a joint signing ceremony on May 13 with Coconino soccer forward Maggie Veale, who followed in her family’s footsteps to attend Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Moran paved his own path and officially signed with Western Colorado University at the NCAA Division II level.
