The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) announced drivers should plan for an overnight closure of U.S. Route 89 at the junction with Arizona State Route 64 near Cameron.
Restrictions will be in place from 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 25 to 6 a.m. Friday, June 26 for the installation of overhead utility work by APS. U.S. Route 89 will be closed for 15-minute intervals at milepost 465 and drivers should allow for extra travel time in the area, though access to adjacent businesses will be maintained.
