Northern Arizona guard Isaiah Shaw was one of a handful of Lumberjacks who entered the transfer portal after the conclusion of last season. While some of those other players are still looking for their next stops, Shaw landed at one of college basketball’s most historic programs.
ESPN reported Shaw’s commitment to UConn, last season’s national championship runner-up, on May 21. The Huskies made his transfer official last week. UConn head coach Dan Hurley touted Shaw’s length and basketball background as big reasons for taking him in.
