The summer months are among the most important for putting a high school basketball team together for the winter season. Coaches try to use the free time away from school to get incoming and returning players active.
Flagstaff High School’s boys and girls teams have been spending the summer piecing together a summer schedule, and it has proven more difficult than in recent years. The Flagstaff High School dome, where the teams usually practice, has been put out of commission for the summer due to unforeseen water damage.
