Flagstaff softball continued its emphatic tear on Tuesday. The No. 7-ranked Eagles won their ninth game in 10 outings and held their top spot in the Grand Canyon Region with a 5-4 win over No. 8 Prescott at Flagstaff High School.
Manager Tommy Hernandez was pleased with the victory, saying that wins against more challenging opponents like the Badgers give the team confidence as the postseason nears.
