A wild scene unfolded in San Jose when Richard Tillman, brother of the late football star Pat Tillman, allegedly drove his car straight into a post office and set the place ablaze. That’s right! In an act that has everyone shaking their heads, he crashed through the front of the building at around 3 a.m. before filming the chaos unfold—because who doesn’t want their early morning brunch interrupted by a post office fire, right?
After Richard’s fiery surprise, authorities found some rather cryptic graffiti that read “Viva La Me.” What does it even mean? One could only guess if Richard was trying to confess his rebellion against the postal service or if he simply had a creative outburst. U.S. Postal Inspector Matthew Norfleet said they can’t rule out the possibility that this act was premeditated. Talk about a postal breakdown!
While firefighters took a good 90 minutes to extinguish the flames, residents are left wondering where their mail might be hiding. One resident even quipped about putting their mail outside to see if the mailman would show up. With all this drama, it might be a good time to check if your important letters are tucked away safely, or if they went the way of Richard’s road to chaos. What do you think? Is this a sign of deeper issues, or just a bizarre incident gone wrong?
