Letter to the Editor: Building a Flagstaff that works for everyone

I’m a Flagstaff resident, small business owner, entrepreneur, and I’m a lifelong Democrat. Like many in our community, the challenges currently facing our city are almost always at the top of mind, somehow affecting almost every aspect of my day-to-day life. The cost of living continues to rise, housing affordability remains out of reach for too many families, and local businesses are navigating increasing financial uncertainties. Now more than ever, city and local leaders must be critical and responsible stewards of local resources and taxpayer dollars — ensuring that every dollar spent, and every ordinance passed, delivers value to the community and those most vulnerable.

I believe local government works best when it focuses on solving real problems for real people that benefit our community. That is why I’m proudly supporting Nancy Baca for Flagstaff City Council.
