I recently spent a week as a patient in Flagstaff Medical Center. Having had clients there in the past, I was surprised at how much the care has improved, but not the communication within.
Many of us have had experiences with the facility leading to long-term skepticism. Years ago, I informed my emergency contact, “if I’m ever in there, get me out”. Now I’m happy to report that the medical care is excellent. However, no one needs to answer the same question to multiple staff who have not read their chart, constantly reiterate their insurance coverage and ask for ear plugs due to the din.
